Report: Snap's Next Spectacles Will Have Two Cameras, Costs $350
A report today says that Venice, California-based Snap is getting set to launch a another version of its Spectacles, its connected, video- and snapshot-capturing sunglasses, for the heady price of $350.00. According to the report, the new Spectacles will be capable of producing augmented reality effects in videos, including overlay of AR lenses and 3D photo effects based on footage from the glasses. Edmunds Launches New Car Ranking Pages
Santa Monica-based Edmunds, the automotive information and shopping site, says it has launched a new set of pages specifically aimed at providing best car rankings. According to Edmunds.com, its new landing pages will the top 10 vehicles in descending order in each of more than 50 segments. Edmunds claims its rankings are based on its own vehicle testing process, plus evaluation at its test track, a 115-mile road test loop, and day-to-day driving situations.

Beyond Meat Files For IPO
El Segundo-based Beyond Meat, a venture-backed startup which makes vegetarian, plant-based burger patties and other meat alternatives, filed for an IPO last week, saying in a filing that it is looking to raised $100M in an IPO on the Nasdaq Global Market. The company has applied to list as BYND. The company's IPO is being underwritten by Goldman Sachs & Co., J.P. Morgan, Credit Suisse, BofA Merrill Lynch, Jefferies, and William Blair. SpaceX Renames BFR To Starship
Hawthorne-based rocket and space vehicle developer SpaceX is renaming its upcoming, passenger-carrying rocket--the BFR--to "Starship", and will refer to the rocket booster as "Super Heavy", according to SpaceX founder Elon Musk. The reason for the name change was not known, although Musk is known for his often capricious naming of his projects. olloclip Launches New iPhone Lens Accessories
Foothill Ranch-based olloclip, which makes clip-on camera lens for the iPhone, says it has launched three new products for Apple's newest iPhones. According to olloclip, it has added new clips which work for the Apple iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max, which lets users connects its Connect X lenses to those devices. General Atomics Reports UAV Deal With Belgium
San Diego-based unmanned aerial vehicle maker General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI) said on Monday that the company's unmanned aircraft systems have been selected by the country of Belgium. According to GA-ASI, the Government of Belgium is looking to acquire its MQ-9B SkyGuardian Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS), and is currently in negotiations with the U.S. Government on the deal.
