MySpace Partners With SNOCAP For Music Sales

Los Angeles-based MySpace has inked a deal with SNOCAP, a provider of digital music distribution tools, to allow musicians and labels to sell music via the MySpace web site. The popular social networking site said today that the two will allow artists and record labels to sell their music from profile pages, from a digital storefront. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. MySpace said that the two will also create code that allows fans to create their own digital storefronts to support their favorite bands. The new service will be available this year.
